Teruel's Ham

Teruel's Ham comes from three breeds of pig –Landrace, Duroc and Large White– which are born, bred, slaughtered and cured locally. The manufacturing process combines traditional artisan methods with more modern ones, although the drying process is always done naturally. Our ham is matured for 18 months, and results in ham of excellent quality, which is considered one of the best in the world.

The traditional, smooth and pleasant taste is unmistakable and one of the most preferred hams by great gourmets. In addition, various scientific studies have endorsed the health benefits that our ham has to offer – it is rich in iron, is a source of vitamin B, minerals and amino acids, is high in protein, contains little salt and has oleic acid and 63% of unsaturated fats, meaning that it is low in cholesterol.
